Getting there

Tihaka Sands is easy to get to. The closest airport is the city of
Invercargill at the bottom of New Zealand in Southland just a 30
minute drive away, with Queenstown an easy just over 2 hour
scenic drive away on straight roads with minimal traffic.

Tihaka Sands is located on the Southern scenic route between
the Catlins and Fiordland.

Tihaka is beside the seaside settlement of Colac Bay while Riverton
is only 9km away.
